Community Programs

We're proud to give back to the communities where we work and live. From the tow truck driver who helps get you on your way to the insurance agency who helps you protect your family, helping people is in our nature.

Transportation Advocacy

Because our 4.2 million Members represent a broad spectrum of the population, we want to make sure we represent everyone as fairly as possible. Learn more about our work on issues such as traffic safety, consumer protection, and the environment.

Environmental Programs

Our connection to the environment began in 1919, when concerned AAA employees raised $100,000 to purchase and save 20,000 acres of redwood trees from deforestation. Today, AAA sponsors programs such as the Greenlight™ Initiative, the Great Battery Roundup, Spare the Air, and an annual cleanup of Yosemite National Park.
