AAA History — A Century of Service

One hundred years ago auto enthusiasts started a progressive club to increase the comfort and safety of all drivers. AAA now provides service to 4 million Members in Northern California, Nevada and Utah.

History of AAA — 100 Years of serving Members

On March 4, 1902, nine motor clubs met in Chicago to form the American Automobile Association (AAA). After one hundred years of actively representing the interests of motorists and other travelers, AAA is currently nearly 45 million Members strong.
