Introduce your students to traffic safety with Otto the Auto

Otto the Auto is AAA's talking car that visits children in grades K-3, with occasional visits to pre-schools, in Northern California and Southern Nevada. Otto comes to life in a 30-minute scripted show, teaching pedestrian, passenger, bike and helmet safety. This fun and interactive program is free - funded entirely by AAA of Northern California and AAA Nevada.

  1. A multi-purpose room at the school where Otto can be set up for presentations. (Otto requires 6 -10 feet of clearance to move around)
  2. A teacher/faculty member who will facilitate each presentation and who is willing to prompt Otto from a script.
  3. A place where the AAA Educational Consultant can hide while operating Otto by remote. The area must allow operator to see Otto at all times.
  4. A planned schedule of classes with no more than 100 children per 30-minute show.
